How to determine if there is ADHD?

Patient's question:

Our child is almost two years old, but I've noticed that he has extremely high energy every day, constantly moving around, never a moment of stillness. If I take a look at other children, they are incredibly well-behaved. How can you tell if there might be ADHD?

Doctor's answer:

ADHD primarily manifests as difficulty concentrating or very short attention spans, often being distracted by external stimuli. Carelessness, losing things. Excessive fidgeting, unable to sit still, running around, climbing randomly, always busy, and unstable emotions. Prone to guilt, easily conflicting with other children. Due to inattention and hyperactivity, listening and learning effectiveness are affected, leading to multiple instances of learning difficulties.
