1949--1999 Xinhua News Agency Selected Works of Excellent News: News Photography Selection

Author: Guo Chaojun, Editor-in-Chief
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2000-05-01
Features: This anthology includes the most outstanding and representative works from Xinhua News Agency over the past 50 years in China, covering domestic news, international news, foreign news, sports news, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao news, as well as photographic news. Many of these works had a significant impact both in China and around the world when they were published, with some becoming household names and widely celebrated masterpieces. Although these works may seem somewhat inadequate in the face of the rich and diverse reality of the great motherland's 50 years, they are like a drop of water that can reflect the sun. We hope readers can see through this anthology the important moments, typical events, representative figures, and the forward march of the entire era that has passed.
