Features: "Ecological Environment Construction and Agricultural Sustainable Development Strategy Research on the Loess Plateau of Gansu" is divided into four parts: Preface, Strategy, Industry, and Special Topics. The Preface collects discussions about the Loess Plateau by academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The Strategy section conducts an in-depth and systematic study of ecological environment construction and agricultural sustainable development strategies on the Loess Plateau of Gansu, adjustments in agricultural industrial structure and optimization of agricultural resource allocation, as well as scientific and technological development plans for ecological restoration and reconstruction. The Industry section conducts in-depth research on sustainable development strategies in six aspects: dryland agriculture, grass industry, forestry, animal husbandry, soil and water conservation, and meteorology on the Loess Plateau of Gansu. The Special Topics section further explores important limiting factors affecting ecological environment construction and agricultural sustainable development on the Loess Plateau of Gansu, including water, material cycles, industrial structure, cultivation systems, and ecological restoration. This is an excellent book that reexamines the governance and development of the Loess Plateau from an ecological-economic coordination perspective. It is highly academic, practical, and policy-oriented, with many new viewpoints, insights, and suggestions that are worth the attention of government decision-making departments and reference for academic peers.
