Features: My understanding of Ming and Qing Dynasty furniture was once a blank slate in my mind about five years ago. I remember it was in winter when a classmate introduced me to a job at a classical furniture factory. At that time, my life was quite difficult because I had just abandoned my studies in Germany and felt ashamed to return to my hometown, giving me a sense of having no future. Therefore, initially, I got involved with antique furniture for a living. My work at the factory involved drawing furniture and painting on it. Every day, I had to deal with a variety of old and worn-out pieces. Over time, thanks to my intuition for art and beauty, I gradually grew to love these old frames. This book mainly collects classical Chinese furniture from the Ming and Qing dynasties, divided into categories such as chairs and stools, tables and desks, cabinets and frames, beds and couches, other categories, stone works, and Ming and Qing furniture elements. The photos are exquisite, and some pieces include restoration drawings, providing a valuable resource for furniture enthusiasts, collectors, and readers.
