Features: The origin of the Yi Gua and how it formed the sixty-four hexagrams? What are its philosophical and cultural foundations? This has been a focus for scholars throughout history, leading to various theories. However, due to the scarcity of documents, many arguments lack strong evidence. Thanks to the achievements of modern archaeology, research on the relationship between digital hexagrams and Yi Gua imagery has made significant progress. In the issue of the origin of the Yi Gua, this conference conducted fruitful explorations. Mr. Huang Yilu from the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, based on his research on the digital hexagrams and the Jiu Gua of the Zhuang ethnic group, traced the origin of the hexagrams back to the Hemudu and Dawenkou cultures, believing that the Jiu Gua has a connection with the digital hexagrams, serving as an important clue to unraveling the origin of the Yi Gua. This extends the perspective of Yi studies back several thousand years, and it should be recognized that Huang Yilu's research holds significant meaning for the origin of Yi studies and deserves attention from the academic community.
