Features: To regulate the work of applying for master's degrees based on equivalent academic standing and ensure the quality of degree conferment, the 16th meeting of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee decided to introduce a national unified examination on comprehensive subject level for candidates applying for master's degrees based on equivalent academic standing. Starting from September 1, 1999, obtaining the "Certificate of Qualification for the National Unified Examination on Comprehensive Subject Level" in the relevant subject has become a necessary prerequisite for candidates to obtain a master's degree based on equivalent academic standing. The purpose of the comprehensive subject level examination is to strengthen the macro-control and standardized management of the state in conferring master's degrees on candidates with equivalent academic standing, and it is an important part of the national examination organized to assess the professional knowledge structure and level of candidates applying for master's degrees. In 1998, we organized experts to compile and publish the "National Unified Syllabus and Guidelines for Comprehensive Subject Level Examination in Computer Science and Technology for Candidates with Equivalent Academic Standing." Over the past five years, based on the suggestions of a large number of candidates and relevant experts, we have revised this book carefully on the basis of summarizing the experience of recent years' unified examinations. The revised syllabus (Second Edition) will serve as the basis for the unified examination questions for candidates with equivalent academic standing applying for master's degrees in the field of computer science and technology in the coming years. It will also serve as a reference for universities and colleges in related teaching and tutoring, as well as a reference material for candidates to review and prepare for the examination.
