It was jointly implemented and completed by researchers and teaching staff from the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, as well as researchers and educators from local ethnic research institutes and universities. Each volume of the series is organized into the Comprehensive Section, the Typical Section, and the Special Topic Section, among others, and is compiled based on field research.
