Features: For over two thousand years, the stories of the twelve zodiac signs have been widely circulated among various ethnic groups in China. As a cultural representative of Chinese folk customs, the twelve zodiac signs are hailed as one of the world's great wonders and have attracted the attention of people both domestically and internationally, becoming an endlessly interpretable topic. This series of books is an animated collection that gathers the essence of these cultural treasures. The stories in this book are drawn from the finest myths, folk tales, and idiomatic expressions about the zodiac signs that have been passed down for two thousand years in Chinese culture. Each story is independent, with fantastical and whimsical plots, and humorous and quirky content. The book features over 500 cartoon designs, some exaggerated and comical, others detailed and realistic, and others imaginative and bizarre. Examples include the clever and adorable, all-powerful Golden Monkey with a soaring nose, the always curious, little braided fat girl, and the perpetually bouncing, big-nosed Mao Tou, among others. Behind each design lies a lively, humorous, and witty story.
