Is it gastritis?

Patient's question:

I am 34 years old. Recently, for some reason, I have been feeling nauseous and wanting to vomit. My stomach has been, sometimes with symptoms of heartburn and acid reflux. I went to the hospital, and it was treated for a while, but then it came back again. Is it gastritis?

Doctor's answer:

In this case, it might be possible to have gastritis or supplementary ulcers, but it doesn't necessarily have to be gastritis of the antrum. Therefore, it is recommended to visit the internal medicine department at your local hospital and undergo a gastroscopy for a thorough examination. Additionally, avoid spicy foods, smoking, and drinking beer. Eat more fruits and vegetables, maintain regular bowel movements, and exercise more.
