Qing Emperor Kangxi (1662–1722), also known as Aisin Gioro Xuanye. Ascended to the throne at the age of eight with the reign title Kangxi. He was passionate about calligraphy and pioneered imperial court engravings. This book includes ninety works by Emperor Kangxi from July 1693 to June 1760.
