Features: Alfred Nobel's most important invention is related to explosives. He originally intended to use explosives to help industrial development, but unexpectedly, it indirectly led to the advancement of war weapons. As a result, an award was established to "reward those who have made the greatest efforts or contributions to promoting peace, friendship among nations, the disarmament of standing armies, or the organization and promotion of peace conferences." Peace is the main theme of the world today and an important component of the Nobel Prize. Chancellor Brandt of Germany comforted the hearts of the persecuted Jews during World War II in front of the Jewish Monument in Poland one night; Martin Luther King and Mandela sacrificed their lives and youth to eliminate racial discrimination; Mother Teresa dedicated all her love to the poor and helpless. From major scientific discoveries, the themes of literary works, the calls of the international community, to cooperation in the economic field, behind the substantial prize money lies a richer spirit of science and humanity: admiration for the persistent pursuit of ideals, hope and pursuit of world peace, concern for the mysteries of human life and its development, and reflection on human nature and civilization. The Nobel Prize has become the highest honor not only because it represents the forefront of scientific civilization but also because it focuses on and promotes the betterment of humanity.
