Features: The death of Qin Shi is a great mystery, not originating from the incurable disease mentioned in the currently circulated versions. "Qin Keqing's debauchery and death at Tianxiang Tower" is an unresolved case in Dream of the Red Chamber. It was merely a startling statement from the annotator: "It was ordered that Qin Xi be deleted from the text, and thus this chapter only has ten pages, with the section on Tianxiang Tower removed, reducing it by four or five pages." Therefore, the death of Qin Shi is attributed to the exposure of her affair with her husband's brother, Jia Zhen, unable to bear the humiliation, she hanged herself at Tianxiang Tower. However, how exactly it happened, the author narrates it in the form of a first-person account in this book.
