Features: News possesses a distinct attribute of truth, goodness, and beauty. News should provide truthful information, moral education, and aesthetic enjoyment. This book approaches news writing from an aesthetic perspective, using aesthetics as a valuable reference for evaluating the quality of news. It explores how to write good news, allowing people to learn about recent facts while also experiencing aesthetic pleasure. Regarding the issue of aesthetic appreciation in news, there are currently two main problems. First, the truth, goodness, and beauty in news communication are an organic whole, but research on the latter has been insufficient and lacks detail. Second, a superficial and simplistic attitude toward news aesthetics affects the development of news itself. The author chooses the aesthetic angle to teach news writing, hoping that readers can not only receive concrete guidance on news writing but also gain new insights and inspiration. They are encouraged to actively try to write news in accordance with aesthetic principles, producing high-quality news. This book elaborates on the general principles, writing methods, and techniques of news writing. It includes an overview of news writing, the innovative role of aesthetic information in news writing, the aesthetic creativity of journalists in news writing, the aesthetic evaluation of news, and the similarities and differences in the aesthetic appreciation of news works from China and the West.
