Features: The "" series is a set of popular, practical, and progressive introductory books meticulously written for and primary and secondary school students. It is suitable for both students and teachers in terms of content and form for basic calligraphy practice and teaching reference. The study of calligraphy basics generally involves two stages. The first stage is the practice of basic strokes and radicals, while the second stage is the practice of structure and composition. In terms of organization, this book follows the principle of gradual progress, providing detailed guidance on the basic strokes, radicals, and structural rules of various famous calligraphers' styles through numerous examples. It also offers concise guidance on the layout, inscription methods, and seal positions of works. Copying is the main learning method for calligraphy students. all have representative works, which can represent the calligrapher's style, making them the preferred choice for later generations to select models. The model characters in this series are selected from the works of the great Tang Dynasty calligrapher Ouyang Xun's "Liquan Stele of the Nine Palace," Yan Zhenqing's "Multitude Treasure Pagoda Stele," Liu Gongquan's "Xuanmi Pagoda Stele," the great Yuan Dynasty calligrapher Zhao Mengfu's "Three Gates Record," "Moyan Temple Record," and "Danba Stele," as well as Wang Xizhi's "Lanting Preface," "Holy Teaching Preface," and the Han Dynasty clerical script "Shichen Front and Back Steles." To complement teaching, in addition to selecting model characters from the original steles, this book also uses the radicals and components of the model characters to design and combine a large number of model characters, guiding learners to apply and vary them for twice the result with half the effort. Converting all model characters into ink traces to make them closer to the true works of calligraphy masters, while moderately enlarging them and using white lines to outline the brushstroke methods, is a major feature of this book. Through intuitive and clear observation, learners can more easily grasp the characteristics of the masters' calligraphic styles, thereby improving the effectiveness of basic calligraphy training. The "" series is divided into six volumes: (Regular Script Introduction - Ouyang Xun's "Nine Palace"), (Regular Script Introduction - Yan Zhenqing's "Multitude Treasure Pagoda Stele"), (Regular Script Introduction - Liu Gongquan's "Xuanmi Pagoda Stele"), (Regular Script Introduction - Zhao Mengfu's "Moyan Temple Record" and "Danba Stele"), (Running Script Introduction - Wang Xizhi's "Lanting Preface" and "Holy Teaching Preface"), and (Clerical Script Introduction - "Shichen Stele"). It allows primary and secondary school students, as well as to choose their preferred calligraphic style and receive relatively complete, easy-to-master, and progressive learning guidance.
