Publish Date: 2007-01-01
Features: For over 800 years, an ancient village in southern Jiangxi has witnessed dynastic changes. This once-prosperous village gradually declined. Time and dust have obscured its former elegance. The descendants of the Liang family have remained steadfast in their homes, maintaining tranquility. That year, the author visited Meipu. He documented the people of Meipu and their lives through writing, painting, and images, while also exploring the history of Meipu through historical research. The visual perspective, cultural observation, and fieldwork approach collectively form a painter's record of an ancient village.
