Features: This book compiles discussions on several important issues from the field of domestic literary theory in recent years, striving to showcase the diverse dialogue and creative advancements in Chinese literary studies in the new century. The articles included primarily feature those published in the "New Century Theoretical Topics Roundtable" and "New Century Literary Studies: Frontiers and Reflections" columns of the journal Literary Controversy. To more comprehensively reflect the overall landscape of the new century's literary studies debate, several other literary discussions from domestic publications have also been included. Literary Controversy was founded in January 1986. Our editing of New Century Literary Studies: Frontiers and Reflections and another book, New Century Literary Studies, serves as the best commemoration of the journal's 20th anniversary. At the same time, it also reflects our aspiration to contribute to the innovative development of contemporary Chinese literary studies.
