Can early breast cancer be cured?

Patient's question:

Recently, I've been feeling some breast tenderness and discomfort, and it seems like there's a difference in my breasts over time. I think I can feel a small hard lump inside my right breast. After a careful examination, it was diagnosed as breast cancer. I want to consult a doctor to see if early-stage breast cancer can be cured with medication? How long will it take?

Doctor's answer:

For early breast cancer, surgery is generally performed to remove the tumor, followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Early breast cancer can manifest as a painless, solitary small lump on the affected breast, which is accidentally discovered by Tibetan patients. The lump is hard and has an irregular surface. After surgical removal, the commonly used chemotherapy regimen is CAF. During chemotherapy, liver and kidney function should be checked regularly. For patients with liver or kidney damage, chemotherapy drugs should be switched.
