I feel like I have hemorrhagic fever

Patient's question:

I feel like I have a fever. My forehead is very hot, and my whole body feels scorching. My head also hurts a lot. But at the same time, I have a lower backache and pain around my eyes. Seeing food makes me feel nauseous and like I want to vomit, so I can't eat anything. I also feel tightness in my chest. This is quite different from the symptoms of a fever I've had before. I think I might have hemorrhagic fever. Is that right?

Doctor's answer:

It is difficult to accurately determine whether it is. You are not a doctor, so the symptoms you describe may not be entirely accurate. Moreover, when diagnosing a disease clinically, comprehensive evaluation and speculation must be based on medical history, symptoms, physical signs, and laboratory tests. Relying solely on symptoms to guess what the disease is is not accurate. It is recommended that you do not overthink it and seek medical attention promptly at a general internal medicine department in a hospital for proper treatment.
