Features: The entire work will be published in two volumes. The first volume includes books that are similar to the old collection of the Complete Works of the Masters, which are frequently referenced by researchers. All texts are selected from the best available annotated editions to date. For a very few that still lack annotations, separate annotations will be provided. Some books include multiple annotated editions, each with its own strengths. To maintain consistency in style, except for a few exceptions, only annotated editions written in classical or colloquial classical Chinese are included. Both the main text and annotations of each book are uniformly punctuated with modern-style punctuation, and printing or typesetting errors are corrected. The second volume collects other sub-books outside the first volume. Most of them lack existing annotated editions. For those that require annotations, they will be provided. The rest will be selected from better versions for proofreading. Many of the books in this volume are incomplete or fragmented. During the compilation process, different situations are distinguished: some select better existing compiled editions, while others need to be supplemented or recompiled. Some sub-books are forgeries or suspected forgeries. However, if they were produced in an earlier era, had a certain historical impact, and still hold some reference value for studying certain issues, they will be selectively included.
