Features: This paper conducts a historical comparative study of six dialects of Bai language, reconstructs early Bai language, and proposes a relatively consistent Proto-Bai phonemic system and Proto-Bai rhyming system. After the Proto-Bai phonetic and rhyming system is reconstructed, this paper applies the semantic comparative method pioneered by Mr. Xing Gongwan, comparing the reconstructed forms of Bai language with the Old Chinese phonology and Old Chinese semantics. It detects Bai-Chinese relationship words, identifying a total of 168 groups of deep-level corresponding word clusters between Chinese and Bai, confirming a certain number of cognates between Chinese and Bai, and demonstrating from one aspect the phylogenetic relationship between Bai language and Chinese.
