How is arteritis treated?

Patient's question:

I am a male, 40 years old. After intravenous infusion, the skin around the needle site became red, similar to an allergic reaction. Is it related to the infusion medication? Is it related to medication leakage? Could it be a recurrence of arteritis? How is recurrent arteritis treated? Urgent!

Doctor's answer:

Anime inflammation generally affects many large arterial vessels. Therefore, if it leads to arteritis, it may cause systemic symptoms such as fever, fatigue, reduced appetite, and weight gain. Sometimes, if the vasculitis is severe, it may even lead to intestinal obstruction of the blood vessels. The symptoms caused by the accumulated vasculitis are usually different. For example, intravenous infusion will never cause large artery inflammation; applying a warm towel can usually resolve it within a couple of days.
