What are the significant symptoms of a seizure?

Patient's question:

What are the symptoms of a seizure recurrence? I previously had epilepsy, and each time I had a recurrence, I would have, lose consciousness, and sometimes even vomit. What should I do?

Doctor's answer:

Epilepsy manifests differently during recurrence due to different types. Common manifestations include:
Grand mal seizures: sudden loss of consciousness, falling to the ground, head extension, followed by a loud cry due to diaphragmatic spasms, twitching of limbs, foaming at the mouth, bluish complexion, upward rolling of eyes, and sometimes incontinence of urine and feces. After a recurrence, the individual cannot recall the process and experiences general pain and fatigue.
Petit mal seizures, also known as absence seizures, manifest as sudden cessation of speech and movement, staring eyes or tapping the table, dropping objects in hand, and returning to the original activity after the seizure stops.
Focal seizures manifest as twitching of a local or one-sided limb. If the seizure pulse spreads, it can progress to a generalized psychomotor seizure.
