Features: From the day that Jiang Youmei, the great-granddaughter of Chiang Kai-shek, was born, a fourth-generation framework was thus formed. However, life is unpredictable, and the world changes. The prospect that Chiang Kai-shek had envisioned for the fourth generation of the Jiang family to permanently hold the reins of military and political power in the Kuomintang had not come to fruition after decades of ups and downs. The men and women of the fourth generation of the Jiang family did, indeed, as Chiang Kai-shek had hoped during his lifetime, successively occupy the seven positions of "Pine, Cypress, Evergreen, and Spruce" and "Plum, Orchid, Chrysanthemum." Decades later, only one "Bamboo" position remained vacant! These successors, such as the "Pine, Cypress, Evergreen, and Spruce" and the "Plum, Orchid, Chrysanthemum," did not, as Chiang Kai-shek had wished, rise again in politics and the military. However, his great-grandchildren and great-granddaughters had their own paths. Especially after the Jiang family's dynasty faded from modern Chinese history and drew a historical pause, the "Pine, Cypress, Evergreen, and Spruce" and the "Plum, Orchid, Chrysanthemum" of the Jiang family began their new lives. What deeply disappointed Chiang Kai-shek in the afterlife was that his great-grandchildren and great-granddaughters of the fourth generation had completely failed to follow the wishes of this political strongman in his lifetime. Almost none of the fourth generation had any connection to the Kuomintang politically; they followed a path entirely different from that of the third, second, and first generations of the Jiang family!
