Features: This textbook was compiled to meet the teaching needs of undergraduate students in economics at higher education institutions, based on our years of teaching practice. The first volume covers the principles of microeconomics, while the second volume covers the principles of macroeconomics. There are many such textbooks abroad, with numerous new editions. Generally speaking, although they differ slightly in content, they have continuously been enriched and improved in terms of content and rigor. In recent years, many translations and compilations of such textbooks have been published in China, each with its own strengths and characteristics. Our textbook, however, draws on existing domestic and international versions, incorporating the best of both while avoiding weaknesses, striving to achieve a systematic, comprehensive, rigorous, and accessible presentation that absorbs the latest achievements.
