Features: The victory of the Chinese People's War of Liberation marked a great triumph of the New Democratic Revolution led by the Communist Party of China, opening a new chapter in the history of the Chinese nation. This is a panoramic (documentary) series reflecting the course of the Chinese People's War of Liberation. With a realistic attitude and rigorous, fluent writing style, the author objectively and truthfully presents the grand scene of the war:
1. The high-level strategies and battlefield decision-making processes of both the enemy and our side vividly recreate the strategic vision and superb military command skills of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries such as Mao Zedong, Zhu De, and Zhou Enlai;
2. The operational and tactical decision-making processes of battlefield commanders on both sides highlight the heroic and brilliant demeanor of our military commanders;
3. The combat processes between the enemy and our forces (passionately praise) the heroic spirit and immortal spirit of our soldiers and commanders who fought bravely and unyieldingly;
4. The united front and counterintelligence work of our Party and army, as well as the defections and uprisings of enemy forces, briefly record the legendary experiences and wise and courageous qualities of our underground workers;
5. The support of the people to our army and the close military-civilian relationship fully prove the truth that "the profound source of the great power of war lies in the people." The three-year People's War of Liberation was a life-and-death struggle concerning two destinies and two prospects for China. It is a colorful scroll and a moving epic. The trials of blood and fire forged one general after another and hero after hero, who, with their flesh and blood, erected historical monuments for future generations and set an eternal example for us to learn from. Today, the Chinese nation stands tall in the East, with the country prosperous and the people happy. The land of the motherland is filled with the fragrance of spring, and everywhere is pleasant. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, people of all ethnic groups in the country are advancing steadily toward the grand goal of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. When we enjoy peace, freedom, and happiness, we cannot forget, nor should we forget, the revolutionary predecessors who sacrificed their blood and lives for the complete liberation of the people and the birth of the People's Republic. The heroic deeds of the revolutionary predecessors shine like the sun and moon across the sky and flow like rivers and mountains on the earth, forever illuminating the land of China. The martyrs who fought bravely for the liberation of the motherland will never fade!
