Features: This is a wax pencil drawing book for young children, primarily focused on drawing animals and tools. Under the careful guidance of parents, children learn by drawing and can initially grasp some basic drawing techniques. Learning is a gradual process, and so is learning to draw—do not rush. First, let the child recognize the tools in the book and explain their characteristics and uses to the child. Then, guide the child to lightly trace on paper with a pencil. Continuously encourage the child to develop an interest in drawing, avoiding impatience, indifference, and persistence in completing the artwork. At the beginning, do not rush to achieve perfection or try to do too much too quickly. Instead, let the child draw slowly, stroke by stroke, to cultivate a habit of being meticulous, which is more important than anything else. Once the lines are traced, the child can start coloring with crayons. Compare the color illustrations in the book and encourage the child to imitate them as closely as possible. If the child chooses colors that are relatively close, also give positive reinforcement. Never criticize the child's creative scribbles—perhaps they will turn out even better.
