Can the dual pathway of the heart cause sudden death?

Patient's question:

Do you understand if the dual pathway of the heart can lead to sudden death? What should be done for rescue if the situation occurs again?

Doctor's answer:

The AV nodal double pathway has certain anatomical locations, with the fast pathway located in the anterior superior part of the compact AV node (this is the only underground passage and bridge connecting the AV node and ventricle), and the slow pathway located in the posterior inferior part of the compact AV node. The fibers of the fast pathway and slow pathway extend along both sides of the compact AV node and are anatomically located outside the compact AV node. Selective radiofrequency ablation can be performed on either the fast pathway or the slow pathway.
