Features: The research object of public economics or government economics is the economic behavior of the government. With the increasing development of public management teaching and research in China, public economics has been used as a core course of public management for undergraduate and graduate students in public administration, as well as for Master of Public Administration (MPA) students. In the teaching process of public economics in China, economists mainly adopt quantitative analysis methods and graphical methods for explanation, while political scientists and administrative scholars often use theoretical analysis. Case study methods have only begun to be used. International teaching practices have shown that case teaching is a very effective method for teaching public economics. It not only helps students understand the principles of public economics but also enhances their ability to analyze and solve real-world government economic problems.
