What does hemolysis not meet mean?

Patient's question:

I am type O blood, my husband is type B blood. I got pregnant but miscarried. Now I am pregnant again and want to ask if there is any disease that is not compatible with hemolysis.

Doctor's answer:

Hemolytic disease of the newborn, also known as maternal-fetal blood type incompatibility hemolytic disease, is a hemolytic disease caused by the homologous autoimmune response of the mother to the red blood cells of the fetus. It is the most common cause of pathological jaundice in newborns and the most severe disease causing elevated bilirubin in newborns. Currently, 26 blood group systems and 160 blood group antigens have been discovered. In China, ABO blood group incompatibility hemolytic disease has the highest incidence, while Rh blood group incompatibility hemolytic disease has a lower incidence. When the fetus inherits a blood type antigen from the paternal generation that is different from the mother's, after entering the mother's body, it can affect the mother's production of additional antibodies, which can then cross the placenta into the fetus. These antibodies react with the fetal red blood cell antigens, leading to hemolysis. Most people in China are Rh positive, so Rh hemolytic disease is rarely seen in China.
