What is a motor seizure in epilepsy?

Patient's question:

I just got divorced this year, but during the divorce, for some reason, I always felt a tingling sensation in my hands and feet. I'm usually very active, so at first, I thought it was just because I was too tired. However, the condition worsened over time, and after a thorough medical examination, I found out that I had epilepsy.

Doctor's answer:

Limitations Epilepsy is a type of epilepsy recurrence caused by organic inflammation in a specific part of the cerebral cortex (such as the precentral or postcentral gyrus), classified internationally as simple partial seizure. The clinical diagnostic features determine the location and spread of abnormal brain impulses. Different areas of the cortical motor area (precentral gyrus) control different parts of the opposite side of the body; different areas of the cortical sensory area (postcentral gyrus) perceive different parts of the opposite side of the body. If the epilepsy pulse is limited to the motor area or sensory area, it leads to focal motor or sensory epilepsy controlling the respective areas. The epilepsy condition is severe, and patients are advised to seek timely symptomatic treatment. It is hoped that patients can follow the doctor's advice for symptomatic treatment.
