Features: As it happens, I’ve written quite a bit over the years. Originally, it was just for my own entertainment, but I never expected that it would be published and receive so much praise, with millions of readers. Thank you all! "A World of Ming" primarily tells the story of the Ming Dynasty from 1344 to 1644 over these three hundred years. Based on historical records, it follows the timeline and key figures, incorporating elements of fiction to provide a comprehensive portrayal of the fates of the Ming emperors, other nobles, and ordinary people. It particularly focuses on court politics, wars, and the psychology of emperors, while also weaving in narratives about the political and economic systems, as well as ethical norms of the time. This can be considered my heart and soul work.
I have a habit when writing—due to reading too many scholarly books in my early years, I strongly dislike overly pretentious writing. In reality, history itself is fascinating, and all history can be written beautifully. I wrote "A World of Ming" to prove this to others. Starting with our main characters, I aim to cover three hundred years and hope I can finish it! "A World of Ming: Zhu Yuanzhang Volume" begins with Zhu Yuanzhang’s origins and ends with the Battle of Jingnan, which marked the rise of the Yongle Emperor. It narrates the arduous and relentless process of the Ming Dynasty’s founding. Zhu Yuanzhang vs. Chen Youliang—who could claim the throne? The Battle of Taiping, the decisive confrontation on Lake Taihu. Hidden tigers at the edge of the bed—eliminating Zhang Shicheng. Xu Da, Chang Yuchun, and other legendary generals pursued and defeated the Yuan Dynasty. There is also the greatest mystery of the Ming Dynasty—the Battle of Jingnan, involving the Yongle Emperor’s seizure of power and the disappearance of Prince Jianwen. The story is full of climaxes, leaving readers unable to put it down...
