Patient's question:
You had several doctors sit on the sciatica because of a slow heartbeat and had a pacemaker installed. Can you eat ibuprofen cell repair capsules? Thank you, doctorDoctor's answer:
Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for fever reduction and pain relief. It works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase, increasing the production of prostaglandins, thereby producing analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects; it also reduces fever by acting on the hypothalamic temperature regulation center. Patients allergic to aspirin or other NSAIDs may have cross-reactivity with this product and should discontinue use. Patients with active or a history of peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, or perforation should stop using it. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should discontinue use.
