Features: He is just a simple cat who loves sleeping in, eating big meals, and watching Jon fall flat on his face. Whether it's setting traps for the mailman, exploring the mysteries of life, or helping Jon unleash his artistic talent, Garfield is always confident and maintains an elegant demeanor—this is his extraordinary charm. Garfield, the world's happiest cat, stands out with his "habits" such as "talking back, napping in the afternoon, gulping down coffee, devouring lasagna, flattening spiders, and chasing the mailman relentlessly." Compared to his predecessor, Tom from Tom and Jerry, Garfield is also diligent in comedy, but his "aircraft carrier-like physique and domineering attitude" make it impossible for him to be labeled an "idol." Yet, it is his more "humanized" traits that made him a star. As Jim Davis, the "father" of Garfield, the cartoonist,s: "People love Garfield because the things he says and does are exactly what we want to say and do but can't." A joyful lifestyle, a way to fall in love with English, a healthy attitude toward life, and a tool to rediscover yourself. We present Garfield—the new complete 40-episode set collector's edition.
