Features: The issue of government integrity has become a major and practical concern for all sectors of society. This book starts with the concept of "government integrity," which shares a common meaning, and focuses on the theme of "Contemporary Chinese Government Integrity Construction." The introduction begins with the reality of the call for integrity construction in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, primarily clarifying the contemporary value and domestic and international status of government integrity research. The six chapters of the main text are divided into three modules: Theoretical Introduction (Chapter 1), Reality (Chapter 2), and Construction (Chapters 3, 4, 5, 6). The theoretical module starts by analyzing the basic concepts of government integrity with shared meaning, deeply exploring the essence, structure, function, and main historical forms of government integrity to preliminarily clarify the conceptual outline of government integrity. The reality module delves into the main manifestations, causes, and challenges of contemporary Chinese government integrity deficits from a specific perspective. The construction module proposes basic ideas and countermeasures for contemporary Chinese government integrity construction from the perspectives of value concepts, institutional choices, and government-citizen interaction. It also uses the "81890" phenomenon as a case study to explore the experience and prospects of contemporary Chinese government integrity construction in building a harmonious socialist society, which is the main focus and conclusion of this book.
