Features: Meibei Village is located in the southeastern part of Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, on the southern bank of the Fushui River, a tributary of the Gan River. Historically, it was part of Qunhua Township, the 76th District of Luling County, and now falls under the jurisdiction of Wenbei Township, Qingyuan District, Ji'an City. Its geographical coordinates are 115°50.52′ East longitude and 26°60.28′ North latitude. Meibei Village was established in the early years of the Southern Song Dynasty, and the Liang family has lived there for 33 generations to this day. Over eight hundred years, this ancient village has witnessed dynastic changes in the southern part of Jiangxi. This once prosperous village gradually declined. The passage of time and dust have obscured its former elegance. The descendants of the Liang family have remained steadfast in their homes, maintaining tranquility. That year, the author came to Meibei. He recorded the people and their lives in Meibei through writing, painting, and images, while also exploring the village's history through historical documents and research. The visual perspective, cultural observation, and fieldwork methods collectively form a painter's record of the ancient village.
