Features: According to Liang Qichao's own account, he began receiving education in Buddhism from Kang Youwei when he was nineteen years old, and from then on, he became inseparably linked with Buddhist scriptures. Although he often claimed to have a "shallow foundation" and "lacking faith," his research on Buddhism was always unwavering, and it was consistent with his political thought. He aimed to use chemistry to benefit the world when he was active, and to practice self-improvement through Buddhism when he sought solitude.
