Features: The footsteps of the Chinese Empire were heavy and sluggish, and it had fallen into a strange cycle: from the clarity of the early days of the dynasty to the corruption of the late period, then overthrown by the unbearable pressure of peasant uprisings, and a new dynasty repeated this cycle. Our empire, like a youthful and spirited teenager, gradually aged into a frail old man in this cycle, and its massive body collapsed into the dust. In the history of the empire, we see astonishing similarities: the inheritance of systems, the stereotypical portrayal of figures. Every Chinese person, when looking back at their past through this series of books, will be filled with pride, surprise, anger, and even heart-wrenching sorrow. The target readers of this series are mainly those with a medium level of education, that is, it serves readers who have a certain foundation in historical knowledge and cultural literacy.
