Features: This textbook is designed for Mandarin Chinese teaching and is co-authored by experienced national-level testers with expertise in Mandarin instruction. China has a complex variety of dialects, and learning Mandarin often focuses on different aspects. However, Mandarin Chinese itself has a unified standard, making it feasible to develop a nationwide Mandarin textbook. Of course, when correcting regional accents, it is necessary to consider one's own dialect. The vocabulary examples in the textbook are all sourced from the "Implementation Outline for the Mandarin Proficiency Test," and the reading passages are excerpted from 60 selected reading materials, integrating these test pieces into the teaching content. By inputting the 17,041 words in the outline into a computer and extracting various phonetic materials, we created resources such as the "Phonetic Alphabetical Index of Characters for the Mandarin Proficiency Test." Mastering these characters means mastering the pronunciation of nearly 20,000 words.
