Features: Yoshiaki Tanaka inherits the ancient Chinese tradition of "using literature to convey moral principles," and his themes far exceed the scope of "The Dragon King's Adventure." With a sharp pen, he satirizes the dark sides of Japanese politics and society. At the same time, Tanaka expresses his thoughts on politics, economy, military, history, religion, and culture through the mouths of his novel characters, making them more direct and realistic than "Sailor." This book is a grand epic by the renowned Japanese author Yoshiaki Tanaka, inspired by Chinese mythology and set in modern Japan. Three thousand years ago, the heavens were divided into two factions: the Dragon Race and the Ox Race. The leader of the Ox Race, Chiyou, caused chaos in the mortal world, so the Jade Emperor sent four brothers of the Dragon Race—Aoguang, Aoshao, Aorun, and Aoyan—to subdue Chiyou. After three thousand years of slumber, the Dragon Race has awakened again. The modern reincarnations of the four brothers of the Dragon Hall family are Shi, Xu, Zhong, and Yu. Possessing superpowers, they wander between humans and dragons, facing demons who seek to seize their strength and rule the world. Unyielding, the four handsome young men—four radiant dragons—roam the skies of modern cities, unfolding scenes of unimaginable grandeur.
The work is deeply imbued with Chinese cultural influences, featuring figures like the Dragon, the Jade Emperor, the Queen Mother of the West, and Yao Ji in various forms. It is rich in fantasy, blending wondrous imagination with historical events. The radiant four dragons and their divine powers are as dreamlike as they are awe-inspiring, greatly satisfying readers' reverence for strength, nature, and the supernatural. At the same time, the work weaves through time and space, alternating between modern and ancient scenes, allowing readers to wander between bustling cities and primordial lands, learning about history and characters in a joyful way and gaining a sense of magical aesthetic pleasure.
In this volume, the Dragon Hall brothers return from the heavens, but unexpectedly, their reunion with Moli is not entirely romantic. When Moli learns that she is also a heavenly being, she falls into deep confusion. Just then, Lanbo's other schemes strike again—he fires a nuclear bomb at Hong Kong, forcing the Dragon Hall brothers to transform and seizing the White Dragon of the West Sea—Aorun. Thus, Lanbo lures the Dragons to the moon, where the opponent is equally formidable. In a critical moment, the Nine Heavens Xuan Nü arrives for aid, allowing the Dragons to safely return to Earth. After this incident, the four brothers finally realize that their enemy is on the moon.
