Features: After entering university, I felt that the world of art was even broader, and many things were so fresh. There, I systematically studied the theoretical and practical knowledge of art. Gradually, I developed my own preferred art forms and expression methods. Compared to other courses, I was more interested in painting classes, gaining many new knowledge and experiences in the process and experiencing more joy in painting. My pleasant university life quickly came to the eve of graduation. The department required each student to complete a graduation project using hyper-realistic painting techniques. The college invited Mr. Yao Qingzhang, a foreign teacher from the United States, to provide guidance for us. Before that, I was not familiar with hyper-realistic painting; I had only occasionally seen a couple of works in art magazines and they did not leave a very deep impression. Through Mr. Yao's introduction, I gained a more comprehensive understanding of hyper-realistic painting. Watching those works made me feel, the observation methods, creative process, and outstanding expressive techniques sparked a great interest in me for this art style. For a long time afterward, I extensively used this art style's creative approach to depict realistic scenes that interested me. – By the author
