Snow City - Representative Novels of Famous Contemporary Chinese Writers (Volumes 1 and 2)

Author: Liang Xiaosheng
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2007-01-01
Features: In the 1950s and 1960s, our publishing house organized a nationwide selection of outstanding long (novels) anthologies, showcasing the style and level of long (novels) (creation) at that time. After the new era, the number of long (novels) (created) works increased significantly, with diverse themes, styles, and techniques. To more comprehensively reflect the achievements of long (novels) (created) during this period, in May 2004, we edited and published the series "Representative Works of Famous Contemporary Chinese Novelists," featuring works by twenty-five writers. For this re-publication, we adjusted the original series list, selected additional works, and included those that won the Mao Dun Literature Prize in the "Complete Collection of Mao Dun Literature Prize Winners." As a result, the selection of "Representative Works of Famous Contemporary Chinese Novelists" is more complete and comprehensive, and it aligns with our previously published series "Complete Collection of Contemporary Chinese Long Novel Masterpieces" and "Complete Collection of Mao Dun Literature Prize Winners," allowing readers to gain a clearer understanding of the development trajectory and overall style of long (novels) (created) since the founding of the People's Republic of China from different stages and perspectives.
