Features: The Chinese nation has a history of thousands of years of civilization, creating a splendid and brilliant ancient culture, leaving behind rich spiritual treasures for humanity. It not only played a significant role in uniting and shaping the Chinese nation but also holds great practical significance today. It helps people correctly understand their national history, provides patriotic education, cultivates moral sentiments, enhances the cultural quality of the entire nation, and promotes the prosperity of socialist culture. These are the cultural essence of our Yellow River descendants and have shaped the spirit of our Chinese nation. To inherit our excellent cultural heritage and carry forward the historical legacy of our ancient civilization, we have launched the "Chinese Traditional Culture Classics Library" series. This series adheres to the principle of innovating while promoting tradition. It selects and publishes a variety of classic works from China's historical records, including Confucian classics, historical texts, philosophical treatises, and literary masterpieces, in the form of modern translations of ancient classics. We first focus on selecting immortal historical masterpieces from various fields such as ancient philosophy, history, geography, literature, and science, while also including famous and widely read collections passed down through generations. Considering the need for popularization and the target audience, most of the works are selected translations, with only a few being fully translated. For each classic, annotations are provided for the selected excerpts, ensuring accurate and fluent translations. This eliminates the difficulty of dealing with complex and profound ancient texts, making them accessible in today's fast-paced world. Readers can directly engage with the essence of ancient Chinese culture, learn, and apply it simultaneously. The goal is to make the elderly, middle-aged, and young people all willing to read and understand these works, deriving benefits from them.
