Features: Zhejiang was an ancient production site for bronze mirrors during the Han, Six Dynasties, and Southern Song dynasties in China. Among them, the Kuaiji Mirror and the Huizhou Mirror were renowned and became one of the most important types of bronze mirrors in the history of Chinese bronze mirror development. Historically, Zhejiang bronze mirrors have been frequently recorded in archaeological works, with the "Selected Collection of Bronze Mirrors Unearthed in Zhejiang" (China Classics Publishing House, 1957) and "Bronze Mirrors Unearthed in Zhejiang" (Wenwu Publishing House, 1987), both edited by Wang Shilun, a researcher and former director of the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, as well as "Shaoxing Ancient Mirror Collection" (Sonomoto Bunkyo, 1939) by the renowned Japanese archaeologist Umebachi Sueji, all receiving significant attention from professionals both domestically and internationally. In the revision of the "Selected Collection of Bronze Mirrors Unearthed in Zhejiang," efforts have been made to maintain the original style and appearance of the 1987 edition. On this basis, after careful selection and consideration, more than 50 newly unearthed bronze mirrors from Zhejiang in the past two decades have been added. Additionally, based on new archaeological findings, the types of some bronze mirrors previously recorded in the book have been reorganized and rearranged.
