Features: The excavation of the Chengtoushan Ancient City Site has uncovered and cleared nearly 800 tombs, over 600 ash pits, dozens of residential sites, and ten pottery kilns, as well as other important remains. This provides crucial data for understanding the settlement patterns of the time and, consequently, inferring its social organization structure. Due to the large number of tombs, thousands of artifacts have been restored, spanning from the Tangjiagang Culture to the Shijiahe Culture. This report comprehensively publishes these materials and should be of great help to the study of the prehistoric cultural sequence and chronology in Central China's Yangtze River Basin.
