Features: As a tourism major student back then, I deeply felt that what I learned in school was mostly theoretical, and the teaching materials were dull and dogmatic. As a professional student, I was so eager to understand the real life of tour guides and prepare and adapt to future work as early as possible, yet there was never a book that could help us in this regard. So after ten years of accumulating many tour guiding experiences, I got the idea of writing this book. There is a famous saying in the tour guide industry: "Wake up earlier than a chicken, go off work later than a hooker, work harder than an ox, run faster than a dog, eat worse than a pig, and earn as little as a migrant worker." To be honest, this truly describes the life of tour guides today. Now, the tourism industry is getting hotter, more and more people are joining group tours, and people are increasingly exposed to the relationship between "tourists and tour guides." Whether it's the conflicts or friendships between them, it's a topic that concerns the general public. I hope this book can bring some help to tourism majors and newcomers, provide some insights for tourism enthusiasts, and offer some interesting stories to a broad readership.
