Features: Long ago, I had passed the "teenage" phase, and the romance and innocence of youth had gradually faded away from me, replaced by a greater sense of rationality in matters of the heart. Yet, everything unexpectedly changed. In recent years, I have been in charge of the "Teenage" column at a magazine. Initially, the idea behind this column was to address some of the physiological dilemmas faced by teenagers, as it was after all a health magazine. However, an increasing number of letters and manuscripts submitted were about psychological issues. Over time, it evolved into the "fuzzy collisions" of emotions between young men and women during adolescence. Each manuscript moved me deeply, and every letter was heartfelt. I could clearly feel the beating of young, passionate hearts. As a result, my own heart became younger too, as if I had returned to that innocent and romantic era.
Interactions between during adolescence has always been a sensitive topic. Parents and schools often either intervene forcefully or turn a blind eye to it. Clearly, both approaches are one-sided. It is a normal physiological phenomenon for adolescents to develop feelings for the opposite sex. At the same time, they also psychologically crave communication with the opposite gender. Although under the "high-pressure" policies of some parents or teachers, they may appear calm on the surface, the intense longing in their hearts cannot be suppressed. In fact, the more they are "suppressed," the stronger their desire becomes. Some boys and girls, unable to engage in normal interactions with the opposite sex, may become solitary and restless, while others may even be drawn into the of pornography and take the path of crime. In reality, who among the boys doesn’t "fall in love," and who among the girls doesn’t "have youthful crushes"? Moreover, their interactions with each other don’t necessarily have to be the so-called "early love." The key is to guide them reasonably, allowing them to interact with the opposite sex in a healthy and normal way, making their lives more fulfilling and their personalities healthier, until they confidently stride toward a bright future. This is also the purpose of writing this book!
I dedicate this book to all the boys and girls in the world, as well as everyone who cares about their healthy growth!
