Features: Assisted reproduction, as a crucial modern medical treatment for infertility, plays a significant compensatory role in traditional natural reproduction. While it challenges conventional ethical and moral concepts, it also poses challenges to existing legal systems. This paper employs comparative legal research methods and empirical analysis to conduct an in-depth theoretical study on major legal issues in assisted reproduction, including the theoretical foundation of assisted reproduction, legal relationships in assisted reproduction, the legal status of children born through assisted reproduction, the legalization of surrogacy, and the regulation of cloning research. Additionally, it combines the current legislative status of assisted reproduction in China, identifies its shortcomings, and draws on international legislative experiences in assisted reproduction to propose a legislative framework for assisted reproduction law, along with drafting relevant articles. To ensure the safety, effectiveness, and healthy development of assisted reproduction technology, regulate its application and management, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of infertile couples and assisted reproduction women, China should enact legislation to regulate assisted reproduction.
