Features: This book is divided into two parts. The first part systematically introduces the basic principles of TCM misdiagnosis, the causes of misdiagnosis, the relationship between clinical thinking and misdiagnosis, and the avoidance of TCM misdiagnosis, primarily reflecting the overall theoretical framework of TCM misdiagnosis studies. The second part mainly focuses on case analyses of misdiagnosis in common TCM clinical conditions. According to the theory of TCM misdiagnosis studies, primarily focusing on internal medicine conditions, it analyzes the common causes of misdiagnosis for various conditions. At the same time, it compiles some clinically typical misdiagnosis cases to better integrate theory with practice. In the treatment of syndrome names, disease names, and symptom names, this book strives to adopt national standards as much as possible. However, due to significant differences between ancient and modern TCM disease names, some conditions still retain their old names to facilitate the transition between old and new names. For some conditions that are clearly no longer part of modern standardized disease names, they are referred to as "syndromes." In the cited cases, to better reflect the original style and characteristics of the book and its era, the original units of measurement, expressions, and homophones are preserved. Additionally, each case is accompanied by an "Analysis," which focuses on analyzing the reasons for the misdiagnosis in the case and providing insights, while the "Original Analysis" refers to the original comments from historical medical case records for reference.
