It is hoped that this book will bring some benefits to readers in improving their social interaction and public relations language skills. The core concept of Public Relations (PR) theory permeates all aspects of this theoretical framework. The core concept of public relations can be summarized in four words: "organizational image." An organization is a social grouping formed according to certain norms and purposes. Image is the overall evaluation that the public has of a social organization. Organizational image, in turn, is the public's overall evaluation of a social organization, or, to put it another way, the reflection of the organization's representation in the public's mind. Public relations consist of three major elements: organization, communication, and the public. The communication element plays the role of a link connecting the organization and the public in public relations. Public relations require communication to convey information, coordinate the public, and shape organizational image. In modern society, there are many media for communication, such as print media, three-dimensional media, as well as emerging computer networks and mobile text messages. Language, as the most fundamental, universal, and important medium of communication, plays a role that no other medium can replace. "A man who wishes to do a good job must first sharpen his tools." Since language is a crucial communication tool in various social relationships, including public relations, language training is indispensable for managing these relationships.
