Features: The innovative strategies discussed in this book are innovations within the value domain, analyzing and researching the products of mobile phone companies both domestically and internationally from the perspective of design management. We firmly believe that every product design should contribute to brand building, and it is also a long-term investment in establishing brand reputation.
The development of the mobile phone industry has gone through several stages. According to the product market cycle theory, the author has broadly divided China's mobile phone industry into three stages:
1. Oligopoly Stage. Only a small number of foreign mobile phone companies: Nokia, Motorola, Siemens, etc. The corresponding market capacity for mobile phones was also not large.
2. The Stage of Intense Competition. With the gradual maturation of technology, mobile phone prices decreased, and the corresponding market capacity surged. Other mobile phone companies also successively entered the Chinese market, while new mobile phone manufacturers emerged domestically, dividing the rapidly growing mobile phone market.
3. Mature and Stable Stage. Although the market capacity for mobile phones in this stage was also very substantial, due to increased competition and more rational consumers, some companies with immature product strategies were inevitably forced out. After the trials and tribulations, successful companies secured stable positions in the market and developed a strong brand impression in the minds of consumers.
